Job Summary**

Responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining NC programs for complex aerospace components, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop NC programs for multi-axis machining centers (e.g., 3-axis, 5-axis, mill-turn) using CATIA V5, DELMIA, or similar CAM software.
* Analyze engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications to determine optimal machining strategies and tooling requirements.
* Simulate and verify NC programs to detect potential collisions, ensure material removal, and optimize cycle times.
* Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturability.
* Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices based on material properties and machining requirements.
* Optimize existing NC programs for efficiency, reduced cycle time, and improved surface finish.
* Perform post-processing and create setup sheets, tool lists, and other necessary documentation for machine operators.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to NC programming processes and technologies.
* Troubleshoot and debug NC programs on the shop floor as needed.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience as an NC Programmer, preferably within the aerospace industry.
* Proficiency in CAM software, particularly CATIA V5.
* Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
* In-depth knowledge of various machining processes (milling, turning, drilling, etc.) and assembly process (drilling, riveting, etc) and materials common in aerospace (e.g., aluminum alloys, titanium, composites).
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings 3D models.
* Experience with machine tool simulation and verification software.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Travel & Training (Mandatory): Flexibility for travel to Germany is strictly required. The role demands a minimum estimated training time of approximately 1.5 years (80%) at the German plant.
