Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support the manufacturing engineering team in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the quality of aircraft assembly within Airbus (Tianjin) Final Assembly Company Limited. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist senior manufacturing engineers in analyzing existing production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
* Support the development and implementation of new manufacturing procedures, tools, and equipment.
* Participate in root cause analysis for production anomalies and contribute to the development of corrective actions.
* Help prepare and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and technical specifications.
* Conduct time studies and data analysis to support process optimization and capacity planning initiatives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design, to resolve manufacturing challenges.
* Support the introduction of new products or design changes into the production line.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects, such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the manufacturing engineering team.

Job Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Strong academic record.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality control principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
* Must be legally authorized to work in China for the duration of the internship.
