Job Summary

As an ME Intern at Airbus (Tianjin), you will gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing engineering activities within a world-class aircraft final assembly environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about aircraft production processes, contribute to efficiency improvements, and develop foundational engineering skills.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist Manufacturing Engineers with day-to-day tasks related to production support, process optimization, and industrialization.
* Support the creation, review, and update of manufacturing work instructions, process sheets, and other technical documentation.
* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to production non-conformities or process bottlenecks.
* Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing performance, quality metrics, and cycle times.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for efficiency gains or waste reduction.
* Support the implementation of new tools, equipment, or technologies on the production line.
* Collaborate with various departments, including production, quality, and logistics, to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
* Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on ongoing projects and challenges.

Job Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong academic record.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, or industrial engineering concepts is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) is advantageous.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
* Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and take initiative.
* Availability to commit to the internship duration as specified by the program.
