Job Description:

The IT Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing the organization’s computer systems and database networks to ensure proper maintenance and security.

The main responsibilities of the post holder will be:

• Ensure technical and infrastructure support in order for the company to carry out its activity

• Manage the security of the network and the data stored therein

• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components such as routers, switches, and firewalls

• Proactively monitor network performance, security, and integrity, resolving issues promptly.

• Implement security measures (firewalls, anti-virus) and manage user network access, permissions and Active Directory

• Diagnose and fix network connectivity issues (physical and software).

• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and update logs

• Provide assistance to users of IM systems

• Provides help and consulting for existing system/operations maintenance

• Work together with the client/employee/local and Central teams to identify IT problems and ensure the solution



The post holder would ideally have the following Knowledge and Skills:

• Cyber Security - Cyber Essentials Accreditation Process

• Network Management - Switches and Routers

• Application Management - Core ERP Applications (SAP)

• Server Management - Design Purchase and implementation

• Virtualization Technology - VMware or Hyper-V

• Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices

• Understand the demands of working within a global corporation

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions

• Customer oriented

• Team player

We require the post holder to have the following Education, Qualifications or special training:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent technical area

• A history of working within a Windows environment

• Working knowledge or a qualification in Project management such as PMP

• ITIL foundation: ITIL 4 Edition would be a plus

• Fluent in English

The post holder should have the following experience:

• Installation and management of Windows server (2016 and after) and Windows Workstation (10 and after)

• Management of Active Directory (users, computers, GPO, etc.)

• Management of DHCP, DNS

• Management of VMware VCenter / Microsoft Hyper-V

• Management of active network components - switches / routers / access points etc. (Cisco / HP Aruba etc.)

• Installation / management / usage of MS Office Applications, Google Applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets etc.)

Competitive advantages:

Programming skills (PowerShell / Visual Basic for Applications) would be a plus

Database Management (MS SQL / Postgres / MySQL) would be a plus
