Airbus is looking for a Head of Human Resources to support the development of its activities in Ireland. The position is based in Dublin.

You will act as a strategic partner for two key Airbus entities in Ireland: Airbus International Services (AIS) and Airbus Financial Services (AFS). In this role, you will ensure the alignment between

the HR strategy and the Group's business objectives, while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence. You will report operationally to the Managing Director of AIS and functionally to three stakeholders: the Head of HR for Airbus Helicopters Support & Services, Airbus Commercial Finance SHRBP and the AFS Managing Director.

Mission: Lead all HR activities for the Irish entities, manage the local team (Payroll, HRBP), and serve as the interface between Senior Management and social partners. You will be the driver of HR transformation and the guardian of the Group's culture and values.

Missions & Responsibilities

As Head of HR, your main activities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise all HR activities and lead the HR team. Work closely with Airbus entities in Ireland to ensure operational efficiency and alignment between HR strategy and Group/local business objectives.
  • Strategy, engagement and transformation: Design and implement strategic and operational HR initiatives that support business objectives and foster employee engagement, collaborating closely with executive stakeholders. Drive and support the HR transformation plans across the two entities.
  • Employee relations: Manage and facilitate regular meetings and consultation forums with employee representatives, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and effective internal communication.
  • HR Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle for all entities.
  • Budget & Reporting: Define the HR budget in collaboration with the management team. Monitor headcount and HR projects in line with the strategy, and develop a robust reporting structure to communicate key HR metrics to Senior Management.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the development and continuous improvement of HR programs and processes. Manage the communication of all HR policies and practices.
  • Compliance & Values: Uphold Ethics, Compliance, and Group values across the organisation.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion Diversity & Inclusion by partnering with key stakeholders to ensure an inclusive company culture and working practices.
  • Representation: Represent Airbus HR in Ireland and actively participate in cross-functional HR projects at the Group level.

Profile & Required Skills

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience : 5 to 7 years of experience in senior HR roles, preferably within the aviation sector, with at least 2 years of proven experience in team development and management.
  • Business Expertise : Significant experience in Global mobility and International Compensation & Benefits (C&B) is highly desirable.
  • Legal Knowledge : Strong understanding of international/EMEA labor law.
  • Education : Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or CIPD certification.
  • Languages : Fluency in English is essential.

  • Influence and decision-making skills: Excellent organisational and planning skills, ability to influence decisions, and the diplomacy required to navigate a complex international environment.

Adaptability in a high-growth environment: Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-growing environment using diplomacy and sharp analytical skills.
