GSC & Logistics Manager

Are you a results-driven professional with a strong background in supply chain and logistics and Leadership? We are looking for a Global Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to join our team and ensure our plant has all the services and materials needed to meet customer demand.

About the Role:

As a member of the management team, you will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in achieving our business objectives. Your mission is to assure the plant has all the services and materials necessary to fabricate customer demand. You will be a critical part of a team dedicated to efficiency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Delivery: Guarantee that all procurement and delivery activities are on time, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with the Airbus Supply Chain Handbook (SPH) and all relevant national and international goods import and export regulations.
  • Strategic Support: Assist the Director in achieving optimum business objectives and ensuring the plant runs smoothly and effectively.
  • Leadership: Define and propose the top company objectives; develop and maintain a capacity and capability plan for the Department (FTE, budget, training, skills,).
  • Management: Chair the Logistics and Warehouse performance review presentation; Chair GSC meetings (coverage routines, MRP with production, Transfer projects and Supply Chain Quality Management topics).
    Mandatory participation in the annual routines with Strategic and Operational procurement (performance subsidiary review).
  • Export Control: Being in the network of Employees responsible for Export Control compliance within Airbus involving Functions and/or areas, to ensure a strong Export Control foundation and implement Export Control Laws requirements across Airbus. Establish and maintain processes and tools as appropriate to identify changes to relevant Export Control Laws, assess the impact, convey any necessary changes and put in place action to ensure compliance with the required changes.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management and logistics.
  • +10 years of experience in logistics and international business/procurement
  • Strong knowledge of national and international import/export regulations.
  • Supply chain and logistic knowledge to lead implementation of best and lean
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
