A vacancy for a AAR Systems - Design & Certification Specialist has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The successful applicant will join the Fuel Delivery system department within AAR Engineering Domain.
In the context of the military aircraft, including aircraft in service but also future Programs, the applicant will be in charge of carrying out design activities, equipment definition and development tasks, equipment and system integration, equipment testing, qualification and verification & validation activities, and certification tasks, in particular the activities related ATA48 and ATA28 (in flight AAR capability) in the frame of military Transport and R&D projects.
At TADYR1 we are responsible for the Hose&Drogue systems and fuel systems devoted to In flight Refueling.
The applicant’s mission will cover the complete life cycle of the products, supporting production and manufacturing, customer acceptance and services support as well.
Task and Responsibilities:
Your main activities will include:
- Support milestones (PDR/CDR/TRR) and produce deliverables for new customer Programs.
- Contribute to the End-to-End system engineering activities as part of system specialist tasks: technical systems requirements, V&V.
- Support to current customers technical queries for MRTT and A400M
- Defining test requirements, supporting execution, and test analysis and reports preparation.
- Support to continued airworthiness process as part of the design office.
- Elaborating relevant documentation for airworthiness processes and certification purposes.
- Support to ongoing and new R&D projects withing the team.
Skills and Experience:
The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- More than 3 years of previous related work experience.
- Aeronautical engineering degree (or equivalent 5-year degree in systems engineering).
- Knowledge of fuel (or A/C general systems), as well as safety.
- Airbus Certification process.
- Familiarity with MRTT and/or A400M A/C, and Airbus Procedures applicable to these programs.
- Negotiation level of English.
Following skills will be highly valued:
- Data analytics tools experience.
- Experience in R&D projects.
- Basic knowledge of systems, software and complex electronic hardware development standards.
- Knowledge of aerospace regulations (CS25/STANAG, E/TSO/RTCA DO 160).
- Experience in flight line/production environment.
- Autonomy combined with ability to work in a team.
- Good capacity of adaptation.
- Proactivity to solve issues.
- Communication skills.
