A vacancy for a Flight Test Ground Station Software Developer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space. The successful applicant will join Flight Test Ground Station Department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Flight Test Ground Station is the department responsible for the Ground HW and Ground and Onboard SW means required for perform the flight test activity. On addition is responsible for the IT Systems and general software in the Test Center Organization.

One of the key activities to perform is develop software applications for Flight Test Ground Station and Test Frameworks. Additionally some industralization of tools are requested from the Test Center

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Knowledge in Flight Test Management Tools
• Software Development for programming in a multiplatform environment.
• Web-Based development of new software architectures including cloud-based applications.
• Architecture and design of the future evolution of the SW
• Coordination of the activities trasnationally and in the generation of a new framework for Test Data Analysis.
• Integration of activities and coordination with the Flight Test Means Integrator and the Test Center Integrator.
• Participation of the activities related with development, product ownership and final customer.
• Generation of a development framework to evolve the configuration for software according new equipments and requirements.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  
• Educated to degree level in Engineering.
  
• Experience developing agile software and high performance software in several languages. Specially C++/Python/.Net C#/JAVA is required
  
• Use of AI for increase the productivity
• Very good adaption to software new architectures specially focused in the migration from Desktop to Cloud on premise solutions.
• Integration with CI/CD Environments
• English Profesional Level required.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit

The candidate will work in a multinational and multicultural team requiring negotiation capabilties and very good communication skills.
