Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Finance & Controlling Systems Specialist - Project & Run (SAP Expert) (f/m) to join our Finance Transformation Department based in Marignane, France.

Your future missions:

In order to manage current transformation projects and ensure the operational excellence of our live applications, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Finance & Controlling Systems Specialist (Project & Run) to join the Finance Transformation & Systems team in Marignane.

In this dual role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Your mission will be two-fold: leading key Project initiatives (Build) to optimize Accounting & Controlling processes, and driving the day-to-day operational support (Run) to ensure system stability, continuous improvement, and high user adoption.

Project Management & Delivery (Build mode):

  • Lead and monitor end-to-end IT/Finance project schedules: define milestones, prioritize tasks, manage scope, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into solid functional and technical specifications for Accounting & Controlling modules.
  • Drive testing and deployment phases (planning, defect tracking, business validation, and go-live coordination).
  • Change Management: Design and deliver training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions by business teams.

Application Management & Support (Run mode):

  • Serve as the key point of contact for live Accounting & Controlling systems, ensuring business-as-usual (BAU) stability.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve functional incidents and user requests in collaboration with IT support teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying system bottlenecks, proposing optimizations, and implementing minor enhancements.
  • Maintain up-to-date functional documentation and knowledge bases for key users.

Your profile

Background & Experience:

  • SAP Expertise (Mandatory): Strong hands-on experience with SAP Finance and Controlling modules (FI/CO). Experience with S/4HANA is a distinct advantage.
  • Dual Expertise: Proven experience combining IT/Finance Project Management (PMI, Prince2, or Agile certifications are a plus) with operational application support (Run/BAU mode).
  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of core Accounting and Financial Controlling processes.

Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and resilient when facing shifting priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with a sharp eye for detail, combined with a strong problem-solving orientation (essential for Run mode).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and finance executives.
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.

Languages:

  • English: Fluent (written and spoken) - Daily working language.
  • French: Native
