Executive Assistant to the Head of Defence & Space (India & South Asia)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Executive Assistant to support the Head of Defence and Space, Airbus India & South Asia . This role requires a professional who can manage the "rhythm of the business," ensuring the leadership office operates with maximum efficiency and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support: Support the Head of Defence & Space to develop high-impact strategic presentations for regional leadership and global headquarters.
  • Reporting & Governance: Be accountable for the end-to-end cadence of internal reporting and executive business reviews across weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycles.
  • CRM & Salesforce Management: Act as the central point for Salesforce data quality; track marketing campaigns and sales opportunities across the entire regional portfolio.
  • Regional Marketing Coordination: Support the development and execution of regional marketing plans , ensuring brand alignment and effective event/outreach coordination.
  • Executive Management: Act as a central point of coordination for the Head of Defence & Space’s daily activities, aligning the executive’s schedule with business priorities and ensuring comprehensive preparation for all high-stakes meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Serve as the primary liaison between the leadership office and key departments (Finance, Sales, Marketing) to drive the timely execution of strategic action items and regional objectives.

Skills & Requirements

  • Communication and delivery: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to communicate clearly with senior cross-functional stakeholders; produce deliverables that bring senior executive vision to life in slide decks and/or white papers
  • Stakeholder management: Strategic stakeholder management skills with the executive presence to operate as a trusted liaison between the leadership office and the global ecosystem.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Google Workspace , with a focus on utilizing Sheets and Looker Studio for data-driven reporting and Slides for executive-level storytelling.
  • Salesforce administration: Ability to utilize Salesforce for the structured collation of Key Account Plans and the monitoring of strategic leads, ensuring the leadership office has real-time data for decision-making.
  • Analytical Rigor: Skilled in structured writing and data visualization, with a track record of transforming technical complexity into concise, "easy-to-consume" executive briefings
  • Compliance & Detail: Maintains a disciplined and structured working style, with a proven ability to manage sensitive information while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and data security.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Engineering, Business, Economics/Finance, Political Science/International Relations and other related fields
  • Experience: 5-8 years in an EA, Sales Operations, or Business Support role within a multinational or defense related company.
