Requirements
Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics OR a vocational degree as an IT Specialist with proven advanced training.
Multi-year track record in SAP BASIS and platform infrastructure administration for complex hybrid landscapes.
Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP HANA DB (Linux/Windows), SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and SAP Cloud ALM.
Proficient in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Operations (On-Premise & Cloud): Act as the primary technical SME and lead deep-level administration, HANA DB optimization, trace analysis, and central infrastructure orchestration (Cloud Connectors, Web Dispatchers, STMS/ChaRM, SSO) across hybrid environments.
Advanced S/4HANA Operations & Migrations: Lead S/4HANA conversion activities-including advanced SUM/DMO transitions-and manage S/4HANA Cloud testing landscapes, system refreshes, and target provisioning.
Lifecycle Management, Monitoring & Automation: Drive system enhancements and release cycles, manage high-availability/disaster recovery setups, implement observability frameworks (SAP Cloud ALM / BTP), and design Infrastructure-as-Code workflows to automate standard BASIS routines.
Security, Compliance & Audit Readiness: Enforce system hardening, patch orchestration, and SSL/TLS certificate management. Monitor security/gateway logs, remediate vulnerabilities, and lead technical preparations for internal and external SAP audits in alignment with cybersecurity standards.
Project Management & Service Leadership: Ideate, steer, and deliver complex technical projects to optimize ERP performance and transformations. Drive continuous improvement in partner service delivery and manage connectivity pipelines (REST/SOAP/RFC APIs, SAP Event Mesh) across cross-functional teams.
