Tasks, role & responsibilities:
As rationalization specialist you will be responsible for substitution management for all standardized components and materials used/usable by designers on all programs within the company. Your daily duties will include:
- Manage requests for material replacement (obsolescence, rationalization, cleaning),
- Prepare documents (technical comparison) for change requests on impacted programs with the support around from 20 specialists/experts,
- Prepare data for the program helicopters change boards (configuration management),
- Manage data base (SAP) after requests validation,
- Interface with the production and support & service departments applying replacements,
- Initiate and participate in rationalization projects in the frame of new developments,
- Periodic travel is required to ensure smooth cooperation with stakeholders in France & Germany.
Required qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in field of electrical or mechanical engineering (or related),
- Technical experience with handling standard parts in industry or configuration management is a plus,
- 2-3 years minimum of experience in industry related to aero, automotive or related areas,
- Experience in small/middle project management
- Capacity to clearly communicate by mail/phone call,
- Dutifulness & negotiation skills,
- Agile mind-set,
- Language proficiency: Polish (proficient) and English (upper-intermediate - B2); additional knowledge of French or German (intermediate - B1) would be advantageous
