Our world is changing. And so are we. From our commitment to zero-carbon flight ( #ZEROe ) to cleaning up space , sustainability is at the heart of our purpose . So what's your next change?

How do you prove an aircraft is safe before it ever leaves the ground? At the Airbus Filton Systems Integration Test Centre, we build the virtual and physical nervous systems that make aviation history possible. Joining a dynamic transnational team, you won’t just be drawing schematics; you will be the hands-on architect behind complex test rigs that contribute to the certification of Fuel and Landing Gear systems for our next generation of aircraft.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Design the Future: Create end-to-end electrical architectures and detailed schematics for complex test rigs using AutoCAD.
  • Master Sensor Integration: Specify and integrate advanced instrumentation (Pressure, Flow, Voltage) alongside the precise signal conditioning required to capture essential test data.
  • Innovate for Tomorrow: Actively contribute to the development of cutting-edge LH2 (Liquid Hydrogen) and SAF test facilities, pushing the boundaries of decarbonized aviation.
  • Deliver Expert Support: Provide immediate "on-bench" diagnostics and resolve real-time electrical challenges on our active, lab-based test rigs.
  • Drive the Full Lifecycle: Take test equipment projects from a blank page concept through to fully verified, commissioned, and documented systems.

ABOUT YOU

  • Technical Foundation: You hold a BEng/MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics, or an HNC in Electrical Engineering with industry experience
  • Lab-Ready Experience: You thrive in a hands-on test laboratory environment, bringing proven experience in defining sensors, managing signal integrity, and understanding hardware/software interfaces.
  • Design Fluency: You possess strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar professional tools for comprehensive circuit and panel design.
  • Avionics Awareness: You have a solid working familiarity with industry-standard aviation data protocols, such as ARINC 429, CAN, or AFDX.
  • The "Airbus Fit": You are an adaptable, natural collaborator who embodies our KTOPS values (Kindness, Trust, Open-mindedness, Positivity, and Solidarity), bridging transnational teams to achieve collective success.

Not a 100% match? No worries! Airbus supports your personal growth with customised development solutions.
