Job Description

Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) in accordance with the project requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify, document and control configuration items (CIs) across the project lifecycle
  • Maintain configuration records, audit trails, and status accounting for all CIs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable CM policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance and project management teams to support version control and change impact analysis
  • Manage and operate CM tools (e.g., Windchill, SharePoint, Confluence, Nexus)
  • Provide training and support to project staff on CM processes and tools.
  • Generate regular CM status reports for stakeholder and leadership
  • Ensure the integrity and traceability of configuration documentation and baselines
  • Ensure all deliverables are printed and secured in binders for the customer.
  • Manage internal configuration control boards (CCBs) to evaluate and approve proposed changes to configuration items.
