Accountabilities:
For Cross-Plant Asia (XP), for A320 and/or A330-A350 Family:
Coordinate XP Operations activities and subcontracted Work Packages / Suppliers on behalf of Plants | FAL-T
Deliver accurate & up-to-date XP operational visibility demonstrating performance objectives achievement
Define & deploy recovery action plans whenever needed.
Main Activities:
Client related Activities:
- Act as prime Operations Focal Point between XP Customers (FAL-A | C&DC), Suppliers (8 Plants | FAL-T) & subcontracted WPs & Suppliers
- Participate to daily Production Review Meetings (SQCDP, etc.) as well as to weekly Section Hand-Overs / EU A/C Transfers
- Organize regular feedbacks with all Plants | FAL-T home bases to review top items, define action plans, put in place corrective actions & measure efficiency
- Compile & distribute daily/weekly/monthly Ops reports to H/O XP Operations.
Operational Activities:
- Coordinate XP Operations, subcontracted WPs and Plants Suppliers by ensuring that all relevant resources & means are available to allow electrical, systems & structural reworks completion as per SLA committed targets, including Working Parties and Out-Located Work. Especially:
- Analyze technical impact of Out-Standing Work, including follow-up & monitoring of Logistics flows between Europe & Tianjin
- Ensure on-Time & on-Quality completion of OSW & Non-Conformities
- Validate priority of Blocking and Critical rework requests from FAL-A|C&DC
- For relevant critical topics, define, organize & lead any necessary internal coordination activities, daily team meetings & set-up mitigation actions in liaison with Plants, Suppliers and/or MAP as well as with FAL-A|C&DC counterparts
-With regards to the Service Provider Subcontracted / Suppliers Activities:
- Provide oversight of daily activities & alignment with H/O XP Operations
- Monitor schedule realization by drumbeating the On-Time completion of anticipated blocking items acc. to technical steps and milestones
- Solve and/or act as an escalation point, support requests for additional parts or manpower for critical and blocking items
- Report Hospital Stock Logistics Requests
- Review exceptional long lead time issues
- Actively identify opportunities, initiate & support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational targets
- Request & provide input for Practical Problem Solving of critical/repetitive issues
Developmental Activities:
- Support, train & develop, provide Knowledge Transfer and tutoring to XP Operations newcomers
- Share lessons learnt & support XP multi-Program Operations
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate from an Aviation University with Aviation Related Courses / Engineer Equivalent Degree
Experience:
5-10 years’ in Aviation industry, with experience in multi-functional teams & subcontracted activities management.
Basic Skills:
Fluent in English / French and/or German Knowledge is a plus
Soft Skills:
Ability to work in an international team, with people from various cultural backgrounds, and across organizational borders
Agility & Reliability:
-Proactive thinking & acting. Be an innovative & autonomous problem solver
-Ability to work under pressure
-Customer minded with good communication & well developed negotiation skills
Technical Skills:
Aircraft processes & tools such as SAP, ACPnG, AirNav, CIRCE, IBM, TANDEM etc.
