The jobholder will be in charge of the strategic Procurement of composite materials for Airbus platforms.
The responsibilities include managing contracts, managing suppliers, coordinating stakeholders, leading improvement and competitiveness projects...
The position offers the opportunity to develop Procurement skills in a motivating, challenging, and innovative business and technical environment.
The jobholder will develop end to end business solutions, collaborating with suppliers to accelerate innovations that bring value to Airbus customers.
The jobholder will be at the heart of the development of the new technologies in composite materials for existing and future aircraft.
Accountabilities :
- Secure suppliers’ fulfillment of contractual terms and contribution to Airbus value chain
- Manage contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products
- Cross-company alignment and coordination (Programmes, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality...) in activities related to composite materials purchasing and development
- Build professional and trusting relationships with major players in the aerospace composites industry ecosystem
- Uphold Airbus Ethics and Compliance standards in all dealings
Experience, Competences, and Skills:
- Degree in Engineering, Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Materials...) or Business
- Experience in Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Project Management...
- Leadership, Communication, and Negotiation skills
- Ability to work at international level
- Knowledge of Aerospace and/or Chemical Industry is a plus
- Technical understanding of composite materials and processes is desirable
- English is required
