The Digital Extended Enterprise (DMT) enables efficient and secured collaboration between all Airbus Business Functions, Digital Domain and External Partners (Suppliers, Customers, Affiliates, authorities...) from the design to the manufacturing and after sales support of an aircraft, through controlled and monitored E2E services.

The objective of the Digital Extended Enterprise transformation is to ensure the deployment of the Extended Enterprise (EE) standard solutions across the different Airbus business functions. It aims at supporting Airbus business in externalizing their sub-contracted activities by enabling the necessary access to the applications and data to their External Partners , while ensuring appropriate monitoring and control according to governance standards.

A Business Relationship Manager (BRM) within DMTE is the single point of contact for the various Airbus functions and he/she defines, organises and implements the necessary EE solutions to achieve business-led Extended Enterprise programs concerning or impacting Airbus Supply chain.

As BRM support, you will work in close relationship with the BRMs, supporting important transformation projects either through Call For Tender or company integration projects, whilst also ensuring daily business support.

Task & accountabilities:

As Business Relationship Manager support, you are accountable for the deliverables defined by the BRMs in order to respond to the Business requirements in terms of Extended Enterprise needs.

Your main tasks will be:

1) BRM support / project - complex activity

Support the BRM in all the steps of the project lifecycle and as per our official BRM Method M2869.1:

  • Support BRM on project solution analysis, identifying use cases and potential risks and opportunities.
  • Understand correctly the need and check the global required information (company registered, dWP/dNES existing, ...)
  • Support projects meetings as appropriate and as per BRMs request, ensure EE inputs for the meeting are ready, Minutes of Meetings are done within the week following the meeting.
  • Manage all the suppliers onboarding tasks as defined by the Extended Enterprise solutions referential and as planned with the BRM.
  • Put in place the proper reporting/trackers and ensure it is updated as defined with BRM and following key project milestones.
  • Regular information gathering and coordination: Track all the required information linked to the other EE teams (Application enablement, Partner Enablement, Digital workplace, ...)
  • Support BRM is creating Steering Committee presentations.
  • Support early life support to Suppliers and handover preparation to run mode.
  • Ensure continuous communication with BRM as appropriate
  • Ensure reporting and KPIs are up to date as per process.

2) BRM - Customer support- on demand activities

As BRM support, you will be requested to support our daily business by completing Extended Enterprise related tasks in order to allow proper suppliers’ boarding and give on demand guidance to our business on EE solutions and processes.

Prerequisite: prior to launch activities, ensure proper demand analysis and log into a tracker tool for BRM allocation.

Activities will be:

  • Develop and maintain proper reporting means to follow up the activity and ensure on time communication with BRMs
  • Provide global support and answer to awareness on Extended Enterprise solutions and process to External Partners and Business
  • EE administration tasks for Partners’ deployment, creation and update of the official documentation
  • External:
    • Request analysis: clarify all the inputs of the topic (mail exchange, EE tools check, meetings...)
    • If deemed necessary: forward request to the appropriate team in charge

Or meeting to provide support

  • Airbus activity leader (business) support:
    • Request analysis: clarify all the inputs of the topic (mail exchange, EE tools check, meetings...)
    • If deemed necessary: forward request to the appropriate team in charge

Or meeting to provide support

  • Run mode support: limited in ensuring the right team is involved in solving the issues.

Required skills :

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience and knowledge in managing projects, requiring coordination of many different stakeholders (knowledge in ITIL method and PMP + would be a plus)
  • Understand and use the growing digital solutions
  • IT background necessary with good knowledge in IT infrastructure, cyber security , SaaS solutions, Google products and strategy.
  • Experience with of complex business organisation, with worldwide scope
  • Process oriented and reporting skills
  • Understand multi-functional business skills and stakes.
  • Open minded, flexible, reliable, programmatic, delivery oriented, lean, focus on customer satisfaction, adaptive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Language Skills: negotiation level of English. French and/or German are a plus.

This role may involve some travels for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
