We are looking for a Material Account Manager to come onboard in our Services directorate.
Your Mission
The Materials Manager serves as the strategic liaison between ATR’s Global Supply Chain and its regional operators. Following the implementation of the New Back Office (NBO), this role is designed to transition from transactional processing to high-level account management. The primary objective is to act as the "Voice of the Customer" within ATR, ensuring operational continuity, material availability, and long-term strategic planning for assigned operators.
ACTIVITIES
Customer Engagement & Strategic Planning
- Voice of Customer ( VoC ): Conduct structured customer reviews and site visits to identify material pain points, expectations, and operational requirements.
- Backlog Management: Maintain real-time oversight of customer priorities and urgent requirements to ensure supply chain alignment.
- Performance Benchmarking: Analyze material support KPIs, present performance data to operators, and establish collaborative Action Plans .
- Material Forecasting: Collaborate with operators on maintenance forecasting (C-Checks, major components) and line maintenance stock strategies to ensure proactive parts provisioning.
Internal Stakeholder Management & Advocacy
- Commercial Support: Provide the Commercial and Sales departments with competitive market intelligence and assist in developing value-based propositions to customers .
- Supply Chain Optimization: Act as a conduit for the Supply Chain team, providing demand visibility and accurate prioritization to improve inventory lead times.
- Internal Communication: Serve as the primary internal focal point to synchronize Technical, Commercial, Supply, and Repair departments for seamless service delivery.
Escalation & Operational Enablement
- AOG Resolution: Support the resolution of complex Aircraft on Ground (AOG) scenarios where standard inventory is unavailable, reflecting customer operational situation as accurately as possible to ATR AOG Desk.
- Level 2 Support: Act as the escalation point for the New Back Office (NBO) to resolve highly complex or non-standard material queries.
- Risk Mitigation: I dentify potential material dissatisfaction or supply risks and communicate them to Customer Support Directors (CSD) to manage customer expectations efficiently.
About you
EXPERIENCE SKILLS
- Minimum Diploma or ‘A’ Level; Degree in Logistics or Aviation preferred.
- Minimum 2 years within the Aviation industry (Materials/Supply Chain/Technical Support).
- Proficiency in SAP (MM/SD modules) and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel).
- Professional fluency in written and verbal English.
SOFT SKILLS
- Stakeholder m anager : Ability to lead without authority and align diverse internal departments (Supply, Repairs, Commercial) to prioritize customer needs.
- Conflict r esolution: Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and find mutually beneficial solutions during high-pressure situations like AOG or material shortages.
- Interpersonal s kills : Ability to translate complex supply chain data into clear, actionable insights for both airline operators and ATR senior management.
