Job Role: Airframe Digital Twin - Intern

Company: Airbus India Private Limited

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team at Airbus India Private Limited. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge field of Airframe Digital Twin development. The intern will support the creation, validation, and maintenance of digital representations of aircraft airframes, contributing to enhanced design, manufacturing, and in-service performance analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

As an Airframe Digital Twin Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Assisting in the development and integration of digital models and simulations representing airframe structures and components.
* Supporting the collection, processing, and analysis of data from various sources (CAD, PLM, sensor data, etc.) for digital twin enrichment.
* Contributing to the validation and verification of digital twin models against real-world data and specifications.
* Participating in the exploration of new tools and methodologies for digital twin creation and application.
* Documenting processes, methodologies, and findings related to digital twin development.
* Collaborating with experienced engineers and researchers on ongoing projects.
* Conducting literature reviews and research on emerging digital twin technologies and best practices in the aerospace industry.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Strong foundational knowledge in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting is a plus.
* Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) concepts and tools is beneficial.
* An interest in digital twin concepts, IoT, data analytics, and aerospace manufacturing processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
