Accountabilities
The jobholder is responsible for creation; monitoring and management of Aircraft Embodiment preparation & tooling projects, including day to day management of the AEE project Engineers. Main accountabilities of the job holder:
- Create & manage the Setup of the WP Preparation dossiers ensuring that they are provided in accordance with Airbus Maintenance Organization procedures and EASA Part / FAR /CCAR 145 regulations, in due time, featuring all technical data and detailed work instructions to enable a smooth and efficient embodiment of maintenance, repair and retrofit tasks as requested by Airbus aircraft operator (customers).
- Coordinates technical support to operational departments on working party site during embodiment, of repair, retrofit campaign or maintenance tasks.
- Manages main base & on-site working party tooling requests, ensuring correct tools are supplied on time, and meet all quality requirements
- Ensure feedback of in-service experience, maintenance activities and reports significant issues to management, project management teams and contributing to continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Manage continuous improvement, innovations, challenges supplier costs, monitor and reports on capex expenditures, monitors work load, simplify tasks, and coordinates warehouse activities
- Identifies and manages the necessary means to raise work instructions related to the tasks ordered by the customer (modification, major repair an retrofits): in accordance with the appropriate airworthiness regulations (EASA Part 145 / FAR 145 regulations)
- In preparation for creation of work instructions, ensures all concessions for specific aircraft MSN’s are identified and mitigated with appropriate tooling and work processes. This activity is also necessary to ensure correct replacement fasteners and parts are ordered and available on site without delay to the scheduled repair time.
- Participates to manage the Part 145 warehouse. Consolidates standard tool list (cutting tools, drilling machines etc.), consumable material list and manages the required tooling to be dispatched to the working party site (worldwide).
- Interfaces with the project management team, design and also provides technical support to working party teams.
Main activities
- Project lead the Aircraft Embodiment Engineering & tooling activities ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
- Manage the local working party support office and Aircraft Embodiment Engineers on site activities for technical support tasks while Airbus working party teams are providing support to customers
- Manage reporting and relations with aircraft operators, MRO’s, programs and project management teams - monitor feedback and implement actions of improvement throughout ‘S’
- Be accountable for identifying local suitably approved machine shop and tool suppliers on ad hoc basis for unforeseen additional work ensuring quality, time and cost targets are not compromised.
- Be the focal point for working party related matters towards projects, tooling innovation, customers, maintenance centres and all stakeholders in applicable interface departments
- Contribute to digitalization projects (eg. e-workcards, QR code project, site internet, 3DMU)
Outputs
- Ensure customer satisfaction on all Aircraft Embodiment Engineer project and tooling topics related to working parties.
- On time and quality delivery of embodiment projects in compliance with EASA Part / FAR /CAAC145 regulations during preparation phase and embodiment phase, contribute to consistent on-site support when technical assistance is required
- Ensure adherence to working party planning and budgets, whilst ensuring Aircraft Embodiment Engineer deliverables conform to strategy and targets.
- Provide onsite support and be the Airbus advisory focal point to customers during modifications, retrofits or major modifications/repairs.
- Evolve and promote a feedback culture though SBC in order to simplify & improve working methods for all working parties.

- Engineering degree in university of Aeronautics and astronautics.
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance operation and engineering
- Familiarised with Airbus technical documentation.
- Negotiation level in English

The jobholder has a sole reporting line to the HO ABEC customer services ACO1S
