ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Manage day-to-day cost management activities for a multi-phase data center program, ensuring commercial rigor and compliance with project requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day cost management activities for a multi-phase data center program.
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates across multiple packages and stages.
- Act as a key client interface, supporting communication and coordination with project teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Support procurement activities, including issuing RFPs, reviewing contractor proposals, conducting scope reviews, and assisting in commercial negotiations.
- Lead cost reporting, including monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, commitment tracking, and risk reviews.
- Oversee change management processes: review, analyze, negotiate, and reconcile change orders.
- Support value engineering and design-to-budget initiatives throughout design and delivery.
- Provide cost input into scheduling, risk, and project controls processes.
- Maintain accurate benchmarking, cost databases, and historical cost records.
- Mentor junior cost managers and quantity surveyors as needed.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. 6–8+ years of cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical, industrial, or complex commercial construction projects.
- Strong skills in cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control systems.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, construction contracts, and commercial risk.
- RICS accreditation or progress toward certification preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid analytical abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with industry-standard cost management tools and software.
