As part of our global team, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of new skills on the job.

As a Performance and Optimisation Measurement Consultant, you will:

Bring strong experience in digital measurement and optimisation for large organisations, with the ability to connect web, app and marketing performance to customer and commercial outcomes.

During client projects, you will work hands-on across measurement strategy, analytics implementation, reporting and insight generation. You will help clients establish trusted performance baselines, identify opportunities, and embed evidence-led decision-making and continuous optimisation across digital journeys and channels.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement measurement frameworks that translate business objectives into clear strategic, operational and tactical KPIs across web, app, digital marketing and customer journeys.

· Assess current digital measurement maturity across strategy, people, process, data, technology, governance, reporting and adoption, identifying gaps and prioritised improvement actions.

· Establish core measurement outcomes across quantitative and qualitative data sets for a multitude of channels such as; email, direct, paid media, social, web, app and more.

· Define KPI trees, metric definitions, data dictionaries, reporting requirements and success criteria that create consistent performance measurement across teams and channels.

· Audit analytics implementations, data layers, tagging, campaign taxonomies and consent-aware data collection to identify coverage, quality and compliance issues.

· Gather and translate business and analytics requirements into tracking specifications, dashboard designs, measurement plans and prioritised delivery backlogs.

· Analyse web, app and marketing data to establish baselines, diagnose performance drivers, identify journey friction and produce actionable recommendations.

· Design and support reporting and visualisation solutions for executive, operational and specialist audiences using analytics and BI platforms.

· Develop measurement approaches for customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, campaign effectiveness, content performance and customer experience.

· Support experimentation and optimisation programmes by defining hypotheses, test KPIs, control and treatment approaches, statistical success criteria and post-test evaluation.

· Connect digital analytics with relevant customer, CRM, media, commercial and experience data to provide a more complete view of performance and value.

· Establish data-quality controls, QA processes, monitoring and governance to maintain trusted measurement following changes to websites, apps, campaigns and analytics platforms.

· Turn analysis into clear stories and practical actions, helping product, marketing and channel teams prioritise opportunities based on customer impact, commercial value and feasibility.

· Contribute to measurement roadmaps, operating models, playbooks and capability-building activities that embed continuous improvement and self-service analytics.

· Stay current with developments in privacy, analytics platforms, experimentation, AI-enabled insights and digital measurement, bringing relevant innovation into client delivery.

Collaboration and Communication:

· Act as a trusted measurement adviser, aligning senior stakeholders and delivery teams on objectives, KPIs, definitions, priorities and decision-making requirements.

· Work closely with marketing, product, digital, commerce, CRM, media, UX, data, technology, engineering, finance, privacy and governance teams to connect measurement design with delivery and business action.

· Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, KPI workshops and insight playbacks, constructively challenging assumptions and building agreement around what should be measured and why.

· Translate between business and technical audiences, converting strategic goals into implementable analytics requirements and explaining complex findings in clear, commercially relevant language.

· Collaborate with analytics implementation, data engineering, data science, BI and experimentation specialists to ensure solutions are feasible, trusted and adopted.

· Proactively identify and communicate risks, dependencies and data limitations, and recommend pragmatic mitigation actions.

· Support client capability development through documentation, training, handover and coaching, enabling teams to sustain and evolve measurement practices.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

· Strong relevant experience in digital analytics, marketing measurement, performance analytics, optimisation or a closely related consulting or industry role.

· Hands-on experience measuring web and mobile app performance, including customer journeys, acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and commercial outcomes.

· Practical proficiency with at least one leading digital analytics platform, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 4, media platforms and familiarity with mobile measurement approaches.

· Experience with tag management and data collection technologies, such as Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection, Google Tag Manager or Tealium, including data layers, event taxonomies and implementation QA.

· Experience using BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio to create clear, actionable performance reporting.

· Strong analytical capability, including funnel, cohort, segmentation, journey, campaign and root-cause analysis; working knowledge of SQL is highly desirable.

· Understanding of digital marketing measurement across paid, owned and earned channels, including campaign taxonomy, attribution concepts, ROI or ROAS and incrementality.

· Experience supporting A/B or multivariate experimentation, including hypothesis development, test design, metric selection, interpretation and communication of results.

· Ability to assess data quality, reconcile discrepancies across platforms and define practical QA, governance and monitoring controls.

· Working knowledge of privacy, consent and responsible data-use considerations relevant to digital analytics and marketing measurement, including GDPR.

· Comfort operating in matrixed organisations and multidisciplinary teams, with strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and consulting skills.

· Excellent problem-solving, storytelling, communication and delivery-management skills, with the ability to convert data into recommendations and measurable action.

· Experience with customer journey analytics, product analytics, experience analytics, advanced attribution, marketing mix modelling, AI-enabled insight generation or optimisation platforms would be advantageous.
