Working across industry groups, our Data & AI team combines deep technology, business and industry expertise to design and deliver some of the largest, most challenging and highest profile technology solutions in the world.

Your background will involve contributing across projects including data engineering, technology architecture solution implementation, product selection and application strategy definition, or the introduction of technology to drive business improvement into an operational organisation.

Our team has the remit to operate in multiple industries, including Financial Services, Resources, Products, Communications and Health & Public Services.

In our team, you will:

  • Help clients harness data and AI technologies to solve business challenges, through the delivery of complex data programmes
  • Help clients design, develop, deploy, and run high quality data engineering and AI solutions across a range of industries with varying business and organisational challenges
  • Work with latest technology solutions from industry and academia and learn how to apply them to solve real world customer problems

As a Data Engineering Senior Manager, you will:

  • Help manage our wider Data Engineering practice and capability
  • Lead enterprise Microsoft AI and Generative AI strategy and transformation initiatives.
  • Define and deliver AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI, AI agents, RAG and AI-enabled business solutions.
  • Own delivery across large programmes, ensuring scope, quality, budget, timelines, risks and business outcomes.
  • Lead multidisciplinary AI, data, engineering and architecture teams.
  • Engage with C-suite and senior client stakeholders to shape AI strategies and investment roadmaps.
  • Establish AI governance, security, responsible AI and operational standards.
  • Drive innovation and identify opportunities across AI, Data and Cloud.
  • Support account growth, bids, solution shaping and strategic partnerships, including Microsoft.
  • Provide executive-level governance and reporting to ensure successful delivery.

  • Support solution shaping, proposals, estimates and business development activities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and Microsoft technology partners.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership, shaping technology roadmaps, mentoring other developers, and fostering team growth. While ensuring the correct data architecture and patterns are used to solve the required problem.
  • Play a pivotal role in the Accenture Data & AI community, driving thought leadership by sharing insights and experiences from cutting-edge client projects and research initiatives.

We are looking for significant experience in:

  • Experience in Technology, AI, Data or Digital Transformation.
  • Extensive experience leading enterprise AI/Generative AI programmes.
  • Strong Microsoft expertise across Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio and Azure/Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of AI architecture, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, governance and responsible AI.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale delivery, budgets, risks and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, multidisciplinary technology teams.
  • Strong consulting, client advisory, commercial and business development experience.
  • Excellent executive communication, influencing and relationship-management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, multidisciplinary technology teams.
