Job Role: Capital Projects Engineering Senior Manager

Career Level: Senior Manager

Location: UK (with expected travel)

In this role you will:

Sales Responsibilities (Energy Assets)

  • Support opportunity identification and qualification aligned with account and industry growth priorities.

  • Contribute to opportunity capture activities, supporting senior leadership in shaping win strategies.

  • Act as technical lead or deputy technical lead for bids, defining technical scope, delivery approach, assumptions and dependencies.

  • Collaborate with Pricing and Commercial teams.

  • Contribute to proposal development, including technical narratives, delivery models and risk sections.

  • Act as technical authority for bids and proposals, accountable for solution integrity, feasibility and differentiation.

  • Leverage competitive intelligence and market insight to inform win strategies and commercial positioning.

  • Represent Accenture as a credible senior technical and commercial leader in client‑facing forums.

Delivery Accountability (Energy projects)

  • Act as Workstream Lead or Deputy Delivery Lead on complex engagements.

  • Support achievement of revenue, margin and delivery milestones.

  • Contribute to team sizing and resourcing plans, balancing capability and cost.

  • Identify delivery risks and constraints, escalating and supporting mitigation actions.

  • Support identification of efficiency and productivity opportunities within delivery.

  • Take accountability for deliverability and delivery performance of awarded work.

  • Feed lessons learned back into sales, pricing and offering development to continuously improve win rates and margins.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Demonstrate growing commercial awareness and financial accountability.

  • Serve as a connector across Sales, Engineering, Pricing and Delivery, ensuring end‑to‑end accountability.
