Visual Designer - London (or remote +/- 2hours of GMT)
We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our Design team.
As the first visual designer of nPlan’s growing team, you will be responsible for driving and producing inspiring designs for a variety of mediums and platforms to expand nPlan’s branding, delight our clients, and support the growth of the company.
We are a Construction Tech company with a mission to unlock a trillion dollars of new project value through data-derived forecasting. With our advanced Machine Learning research & development, we are forecasting risk to major construction projects more accurately than ever. We are working with some of the largest companies in the world (including HS2, Heathrow & Crossrail) to achieve major projects on time and on budget, changing the construction industry forever.
nPlan have recently raised a $18.5m investment Series-A round, led by GV (formerly known as Google Ventures) among other top investors. With this, we have tremendous growth plans for 2022 and beyond, as we scale our product and team at an exciting pace to match the market demands.
About the role:
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to deliver strategic design solutions
- Support the business by concepting and creating content for both internal and external communications, such as infographics, scalable templates, promotional materials, and landing pages
- Maintain and evolve company’s design and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and coherence across customer and user experiences
- Translate complex information into beautiful visualisations and clear solutions for easy consumption
- Develop engaging designs to elevate nPlan’s branding.
- Create standards and assets to help nPlanauts tell compelling stories in their everyday work and improve team efficiency
About you:
- Passion for information design and visual design
- Strong critical thinking and storytelling skills
- Knowledge of best UX practices for web and mobile interactions
- Ability to articulate the value of design through clear communication
- Portfolio highlighting your visual design skills and thinking process
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, motion graphic design skills is a bonus
- Experience working in B2B or tech is a bonus
