Job Outline:

The Head of International Marketing is a brand new role at Crowdube. They will spearhead the launch of Crowdcube across European markets including France, Spain and the Nordics. They will grow and manage a team of local marketing professionals and build a strategy to support both our B2B and B2C efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale a brand across new territories and shape our communications strategy for each local market. This role can be based in London, Paris or Barcelona.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee and lead marketing plans and activities in all required European territories except the UK (with particular attention to France, Spain and Nordic regions)

  • Work closely with the CMO to create marketing objectives for all required markets

  • Manage a growing team of regional marketing professionals to help them achieve their KPI targets

  • Work closely with heads of marketing in the UK to apply known best practices where appropriate and ensure we apply in-market best practice and solutions where appropriate

  • Work closely with regional commercial managers to ensure they have the marketing support required to win new business in their territories and can support businesses from sales lead to successful crowdfund and beyond

  • Oversee and manage the transcreation and new creation of local content

  • Ensure Crowdcube’s brand messages are consistent or augmented where required across all required markets

Ideally you:

  • Are multilingual (French, Spanish and/or German preferred but not prerequisite)

  • Have at least 5 years' experience doing an international marketing role

  • Have some B2B marketing experience working in tech businesses

  • Can apply strategic marketing practices (i.e. market segmentation)

  • Can oversee an increasingly complex content architecture in multiple languages

  • Can be flexible in approach to markets at different stages of maturity

And you:

  • Are able to travel frequently (Covid rules excepted)

Our interview process typically consists of an initial phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager and a task, followed by a final interview with other members of the team. There aren't any trick questions and the task will typically be based on a real scenario the team have worked on.
