The Role – Partnerships Lead

The success of Unmind, our customers and our users relies on us being part of a connected ecosystem of partners aligned to our growth ambitions and mission. The Partnerships Lead is an important, and accelerated, hire that will have a tremendous impact on Unmind’s growth trajectory. In this highly visible role, you will report to and work alongside our Head of Partnerships in creating and executing on our US partner strategy. You will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, nurturing existing high-value partners, and representing Unmind as a leader in the industry to positively impact the lives of millions. We’re looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit who is excited to create infrastructure, build relationships and execute on strategic objectives.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Lead and evolve Unmind's partnerships strategy in the US market; you will identify, onboard and nurture key partnerships to achieve our desired growth - both revenue and adoption within the platform
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities, and challenges, in the support and acceleration of our business strategy; you will manage and prioritize workstreams to ensure that we always have the right resources in place.
  • Collaborate with all parts of the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Product, and other functions to amplify go-to-market; you will build a culture of partnering and leverage the collective mind to ensure success.
  • Curate the partner experience and drive operational excellence for ease of doing business; you will build infrastructure, escalate issues, and set clear expectations with partners.
  • Evangelize partnerships, including the joint value proposition with the respective sales teams to ensure awareness and collaboration; you will represent new and existing partners in sales cycles, marketing and product development.
  • Learn fast and continuously, becoming the expert on the enterprise HR and wellbeing landscape; you will utilize market insights to advise our leaders on potential partnerships
  • Evolve the partnerships team, aligned to our strategic growth targets and company values; you will ensure all future hires will have everything they need to thrive in their current role and develop towards their next role.

Skills and Experience

We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for the role.

We're looking for people who are:

  • Experience in consulting, strategy, or business development with a deep understanding of the HR, health & wellbeing landscape and tech stack
  • A track record of sourcing, developing, and nurturing partner relationships to drive referral revenue and open new markets
  • Experience in delivering programs, creating joint propositions and building teams
  • Resourceful, reliable and collaborative team player with the ability to deliver, on time
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written; high attention to detail
  • Passionate about mental health, tech-for-good, and generally improving people’s lives.
  • Comfortable working in an environment of rapid growth, constant change, and lots of unknowns.
  • Hungry to make Unmind the global category leader of workplace mental health.
