Job Description

We’re looking for a data-savvy Digital Marketing Lead to helps us build brand equity and attract and nurture leads through our B2B digital channels.

You have experience working across the digital customer journey - from paid marketing channels, to website CRO and nurture orchestration, to reporting. You are comfortable building strategies and plans to influence all stages of the sales funnel, and achieve this by; developing audiences and personalised content; engaging audiences through paid social, search, programmatic and content syndication; and converting audiences by optimising the website, email marketing and automated nurture.

As a Digital Marketing Lead at TrueLayer, you will bridge between the Demand, Content, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations teams, to create personalised digital customer journeys that reach our target audience and help TrueLayer build a recognised and trusted brand.

You’ll have plenty of support from your teammates in marketing - we are a cross-functional group of generalists, strategists, and creatives. We’re passionate about building a category-defining brand, and making sure every customer has a great experience with TrueLayer, no matter what stage of the journey they are at.

Who we are

At TrueLayer, we’re building a global open banking platform that’s changing how money moves and so much more. We make payments and refunds instant, account data accessible and verification seamless — all so innovators in every industry can build better financial experiences for their users.

To date, we’ve raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan, Dublin and Sydney. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Revolut, Cazoo and Trading 212… though we’re not stopping here.

Our vision is a financial system that works for everyone. To make that happen, we’re creating original and innovative products that will remove the friction from finance for good. We’re seriously scaling our infrastructure, we’re entering new territories all the time, we’re cornering a whole new category — and we’d like your help to get us there.

As our Digital Marketing Lead you will:

  • Own, monitor and optimise the digital marketing strategy to drive growth from new and existing marketing channels (programmatic, paid social, paid search, content syndication).
  • Build a digital marketing engine that can scale across our products, personas, industries, markets, stage of the sales funnel, and business objectives.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our ideal customer profile, personas, key markets and their challenges, in order to better map out digital journeys and content served.
  • Work closely with demand, content, design, sales, product and operations to develop and optimise campaigns and content through landing pages, emails, webinars, guides, advertising assets and reporting.
  • Manage external agencies and partners to support the growth of digital channels
  • Identify areas for improvement in digital assets (website, landing page, automation flows) and coordinate the key stakeholders to revise.
  • Work closely with the web development team to drive continuous improvement to the website, including conversion rate, acquisition, and usability.
  • Establish digital marketing best practice, including team responsibilities, standardise naming conventions, planning and briefing, pre-defined audiences, performance tracking, asset templates, and customer journey templates.
  • Enable Field and Demand teams with self-serve infrastructure, documentation, and training
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance such as Reach, CPL, Conversions, and Pipeline; turning data into strategic decisions and tactical insights for the team
  • Manage day-to-day operations and troubleshooting
  • Manage the global digital marketing budget

Requirements

  • Experience working with digital technologies and automation tools like Google, Linkedin, SEM Rush, Hubspot, among others.
  • A confident self-starter, with a proven track record scaling digital marketing campaigns that have a measurable impact on revenue growth.
  • Data-focused by nature, you'll be analytical and will show that you've had a keen focus on metrics, measurement, and optimisation in your previous roles.
  • Collaborative mindset, willing to work with key internal teams and ensure everyone is aligned
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
