Various work from home options
At TrueLayer, we’re building a global open banking platform that’s changing how money moves and so much more. We make payments and refunds instant, account data accessible and verification seamless — all so innovators in every industry can build better financial experiences for their users.
To date, we’ve raised$270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan, Dublin and Sydney. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Revolut, Cazoo and Trading 212… though we’re not stopping here.
Our vision is a financial system that works for everyone. To make that happen, we’re creating original and innovative products that will remove the friction from finance for good. We’re seriously scaling our infrastructure, we’re entering new territories all the time, we’re cornering a whole new category — and we’d like your help to get us there.
Flexible working approach
We don’t need to tell you that the world has changed. But we do want you to know that we’ve changed with it.
Our offices are now open for everything from in-person inductions to after-hours events, while at the same time we remain fully committed to flexible working. It’s all about figuring out whatever works best for you and your team.
We’ve also done away with set office hours and start times. We’ve seen that this empowers teams to be more productive and helps people balance their capacity with their other commitments.
Our remote policy means you can spend 90 days per year working from anywhere in the world —whether that’s from a camper van by the Grand Canyon or in a cosy cottage in a sleepy village in the dead of winter in the heart of the Alsace.
Oh, and we’ve recently announced our“open up allowance”. This gives employees a budget of £500 per quarter to visit colleagues and work from our offices in other countries.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Employee benchmarking score
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
"I love that there is a high level of trust in employees. This fosters a highly productive environment where people really give their all."

What do we think of TrueLayer?
The larger a company gets, the trend would say they become less flexible. However, TrueLayer is breaking this norm, massively! They have exceptional score in both their Employer and Employee Benchmarking tests for a company at 300+ employees. This is what a leading "trend-setter" looks like in showing other large fast growing scale-up organisations that flexibility is an overwhelming positive experience for the company itself, not just the employees.
