Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, approachable and professional Office Executive with a keen interest in Office Management. Your time will be spent in our Head Office which is spread over 6 floors and based in the Bower Building at Old Street. The primary purpose of the role will be working with and supporting the Office Services team in creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our Farfetchers and visitors. Your can-do attitude and eye for detail will contribute in ensuring the office is run efficiently and reflective of the FARFETCH brand. You will need to have a clear understanding of our company values and represent them through your work on a daily basis. This will be a challenging and varied role so we’re looking for a super pro-active and energetic candidate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • A key contributor in ensuring the office(s) continue to run smoothly on a day to day basis
  • Ensure staff, visitors, guests and clients receive a world class and memorable experience
  • Responsible for planning and execution of specific projects ensuring these are aligned with overall standards expected by the business with a keen eye on quality, value and brand awareness
  • Work predominantly with the Office Manager but support the reception-based team where necessary
  • Deal with and manage day to day office-related issues including maintenance, staff queries and other ad hoc issues as they arise
  • Devise and implement processes to manage stock levels and ordering with a keen eye on sourcing sustainable goods where possible
  • Provide subject-matter expertise and deliver training within specified areas to colleagues within Office Management and across Farfetch where appropriate
  • Build relationships with key 3rd party suppliers such as equipment, repair, cleaning and maintenance providers
  • Strive to implement new ways to surprise, engage and inspire Farfetchers in terms of events, facilities and amenities
  • Send office communications to keep the business up to date with relevant information

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have previous office assistant experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
  • A passion for providing a world-class experience to both internal and external customers
  • Able to use initiative and find creative solutions to any challenges
  • Clear and confident communicator who can liaise across all levels of seniority
  • You have experience in a customer-facing role
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
