Senior Front-End Developer – 100% Remote, UK/EU Only

THE TEAM

Our Front-End developers at Form3 are embedded within the UI team. This is a growing team who work independently and are fully responsible for the software they create. The UI team are central to Form3’s expansion strategy and tasked with driving brand awareness, demand generation and internal tooling for incident response. Our awesome UI team are very hands on and supportive of one another which enables a high-quality output. Learning and career development is a big part of the team and innovative approaches are actively encouraged without a fear of failure.

THE ROLE

In this role, you will be working on exciting new developments as well as ensuring our existing websites are fresh and fast. There will be a big focus on designing the system architecture, writing, and testing frontend code but there will be occasions where you might need to work with our friends in the backend teams on certain projects. You will have the opportunity to work on improving our internal tools that are used during incident response to answer customer queries and working on our public API documentation whilst ensuring latest coding practices, automation and security standards are being maintained in an agile environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for creative and open minded individual with strong development skills, attention to detail and methodical problem-solving capabilities. You’ll need to be efficient at executing projects and be a clear and effective communicator. We will give you all the support and best in class tools you need to create the new digital brand for Form3.

• A proven track-record of building modern, large-scale web applications
• Experience consuming large API surfaces
• Strong front-end development experience with Vanilla JavaScript/Typescript and modern JavaScript frameworks such as (Vuejs, React)
• Good experience in HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS
• Previous experience of working with bundling tools (webpack)
• Good mindset towards testing and understanding of testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest)
• Comfortable with continuous delivery tools like Travis
• Strong sense of ownership
• A collaborative, cross-functional team player who is comfortable partnering with a variety of teams from Engineering to Marketing
• A creative mind and a sense of humour!

NICE TO HAVE

• Comfortable working with / learning infrastructure management tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with AWS
