Job Description

About this role…

The Talent Acquisition Partner will support end to end recruitment across the business. You’ll have a primary focus on commercial hiring, partnering closely with the leaders of our go-to-market and operations teams to understand their priorities and help them design and execute successful hiring strategies.

You’ll have responsibility for the entire hiring lifecycle including interviewing, closing, partnering with and advising hiring managers, but will have a particular focus on direct sourcing strategies, helping Ably identify hard-to-find talent across all of our teams, including Engineering and Product teams.

Day to day you will....

  • Develop a deep understanding of all things Ably, becoming an expert in the talent markets we hire from.

  • Manage your own pipelines and the end to end recruitment process, from aligning on requirements, through to managing interview processes, to offering candidates.

  • Source top-tier, diverse talent across a range of disciplines, supporting the team in identifying and attracting the best people to Ably.

  • Work directly with hiring managers to develop effective talent attraction strategies, identifying new and innovative sourcing channels.

  • Partner with hiring managers and the wider Talent and People teams to build inclusive, unbiased hiring processes.

  • Manage complex projects, breaking them down into smaller pieces to deliver results

  • Put candidate experience at the forefront of everything you do, always thinking of ways to improve.

  • Work in a fast-paced hyper growth environment with a growing team.

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • Experience working in an in-house recruitment position at a high-growth SaaS or deep-tech company.

  • Experience of working with an ATS and a broad range of search and sourcing tools to help identify hard-to-find talent.

  • Excellent prioritisation skills, balancing your workload effectively and making sure you deliver across a range of roles.

  • A data-driven approach; you have experience using data to drive decisions and can put together business cases based around data.

  • Great relationship building skills and the ability to build relationships with Ably’s hiring managers and candidates.

It would be nice, but not essential if you have…

  • Experience hiring technical pre- and post-sales roles such as Solution Engineers and Architects.

  • Experience hiring across multiple geographies, in particular the US.

What’s in it for you?

  • A great company culture where every individual is valued and supported

  • Share options. We believe that all Ablyans should share in our success and growth

  • We’ll support your professional development with a £1000 annual learning budget and up to 10% learning and development time

  • We’re remote first, so you can work flexibly in a way that fits your lifestyle. You’re also welcome to pop into our communal office space in Shoreditch, London if you want to collaborate in-person or socialise with the team.

  • Your choice of high quality tech kit to work on

  • Home workstation set up budget of £500, plus an annual top-up of £150

  • Regular company away days and social events

  • Weekly individual drinks and snacks budget

  • Private healthcare, 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and life assurance

  • Access to private and confidential coaching with Sanctus

  • A monthly wellbeing budget with Juno

  • A matching pension contribution of 5%

  • Life Assurance and Income Protection with Canada Life

  • Financial Coaching with Octopus MoneyCoach

  • A Cash Plan with SimplyHealth

  • 27 days of paid annual leave plus a day off on your birthday (36 days including bank holidays)

  • 10 days of paid sick leave (including mental health days) per year
