Job Description

What do we do?

As the SaaS space expands, there’s more potential than ever for growing software companies.

Having a great product is only part of the journey. B2B SaaS companies today face endless competition, live or die by customer acquisition costs, have to earn customer loyalty every day, need to operate across borders, and must navigate increasingly complex regulations.

Our Revenue Delivery Platform is purpose-built for modern SaaS execution and already powers growth for over 2000 software sellers, globally. It provides a checkout, payments, and subscription management, enabling businesses to activate new business models, enter new markets, turn on new offerings, and renew subscriptions without friction.

We also handle compliance globally, so our software sellers always operate with full integrity.

The role

We’re seeking an experienced candidate to lead Paddle’s Product Marketing function. Based out of London or Remote, the ideal candidate will have deep expertise within the B2B SaaS Payments space, so we can both grow our team and our position in the market.

We’re looking for a driven, creative and inspirational leader to expand our team; who will determine Paddle’s messaging, positioning and go-to market strategy; and effectively communicate our value proposition to software sellers across multiple touchpoints. Working cross-functionally with product and commercial teams, this role is critical to influence and support Paddle’s growth strategy globally.

What you’ll do

  • Nurture our team into a world-class product marketing function.
  • Define a product marketing strategy that gives us the best chance of growing our market position.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product & Engineering to improve collaboration and communication.
  • Establish measurements of success for the product marketing team, and help PMMs determine measurements per project.
  • Help evolve the teams’ go-to-market plans and execution to make our announcements as impactful as possible.
  • Guide your team to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers.
  • Develop customer segmentation and personas that can inform strategy and messaging.
  • Better enable Paddle’s Sales team, to ensure they can identify opportunities, position our solution, and drive deals to close.
  • Identify strong customer stories and nurture advocacy relationships, to help the Content team deliver persuasive customer marketing collateral.
  • Ensure the Marketing functions of Demand Gen, Brand, and Content are enabled and empowered to communicate Paddle in the best possible terms.

We would love to hear from you if you have

  • Extensive experience as a product marketing leader for B2B SaaS companies ideally within Payments.
  • A passion for coaching and developing future product marketers, with past examples of your success managing product marketing functions.
  • Experience marketing a payment, subscription, invoicing, reporting, tax, fraud, or compliance product would be ideal.
  • Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills.
  • An ability to resonate with audiences, telling convincing stories with persuasive messaging.
  • Experience ‘championing’ product marketing within an organization, and educating others on its role and value.
  • The skills to prioritize - and help a team effectively prioritize - across multiple workstreams in a fast moving, agile business.
