Primer are looking for a Talent Partner - Remote to join their team.

Set up in the UK in 2020 by an ex PayPal team, we’ve been backed by some of the world’s leading investors including Balderton Capital and Accel. We’re also partnered with Klarna, GoCardless and Worldline among others.

Our teams work remotely, from anywhere. We value drive, autonomy, and transparency, and we’re looking for people to shape our culture as much as we’re looking for people to build our product.

What will you be doing?

  • You'll be an early hire in an early stage start-up - with all of the breadth and responsibility that entails, from hands on sourcing through to stakeholder management, interview coordination, negotiation and more
  • You'll identify high calibre talent globally - we've hired an awesome team so far, from Stripe, Plaid, Checkout, AWS and more, and want to continue bringing the best talent to Primer!
  • Thinking outside the box on attracting and finding candidates - utilising LinkedIn, Hired, GitHub, Twitter and more. You'll have access to LinkedIn Recruiter and Hired
  • Highlighting all of the best bits of Primer and making sure candidates have a great experience throughout their interview process with us, no matter the outcome, leaving enthusiastic about the product and the company
  • We're hiring across GTM, Engineering, Design, Product and more, and will work together as a team to distribute roles according to interest and ability


  • Previous experience in end to end recruitment, either agency or in-house, but ideally experience in hiring for early stage start-ups with a high bar for talent
  • Willingness to get involved in hiring anything and everything - sales, marketing, tech, and more
  • Creativity - feel free to make suggestions to improve the status quo, introduce new tools, think outside the box
  • Sometimes things don't go to plan, or change; we're looking for someone determined and driven who'll keep pushing on
  • A sense of urgency! We need to push people through and hire them sooner rather than later
