"Some people like to work early, others during the night, or even the weekend. What really matters is what we deliver, not how we work. In times of deadline and high-throughput, it's a bit hard to maintain this flexibility: we kind of need to be there all the time. But hopefully for us, these times are really not that common (~once per quarter). We also have an unlimited vacation policy which enables us to leave whenever we want. For that: communication is key - only you and your team know if it's the right time for you to leave. I really like that we bring the decision closer to the team, but 99% of the time: if an employee needs/wants to leave, they can do so."

About us

Primer is the world's first open payments infrastructure, enabling e-commerce merchants to build the payment experience their customers demand without compromising on flexibility. This is a huge paradigm shift in the world of online payments, and we're looking for innovative folks to help us build and scale Primer globally.

Flexible working at Primer

Primer is a truly flexible place to work.

We are a globally-distributed company with a remote-first approach, meaning we are able to hire people from all over the world. We have flexible working hours and unlimited holiday, where we trust people to deliver on work commitments. We don't monitor time "in office" or "OOO," and we also support visas in certain circumstances.

Our current benefits include a work from home allowance, access to a company card to use when necessary (e.g. events, outings, team lunches, learning materials) and more. We also offer a whole series of rewards for certain performances, like winning Taco prize of the week :) We may be remote, but we're not alone - socialisation outside and inside of 'working hours' and being in various clubs is a big part of our DNA.
