CREATIVE OPERATIONS

We're a creative family, building copy, data and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH Ecommerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold standard imagery, content and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the FPS Senior Localisation Lead, you will coordinate localisation projects, ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day translation tasks and handling client requests. Working with a multitude of varied luxury fashion brands, you will provide best in class customer service and help to maintain strong client relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will be responsible for setting up, briefing and allocating localisation projects through our different translation and production tools.
  • You will plan and execute new language site launches managed by the Senior Localisation Lead, creating project trackers and timelines as well as supporting with the direction on the quality management of all localisation projects.
  • You will be a driver for a quality and customer focused ethos, acting as the key point of contact for clients handling and resolving requests.
  • You will be responsible for the financial operations of the team, being the main point of contact with production and finance teams, processing purchase orders and managing invoices.
  • You will work closely with leads, managers and the People team to manage the FPS freelancer pool and own coordination of the full freelancer cycle ensuring a compliant freelancer process and lifecycle. You will coordinate workforce needs, engage freelancers, manage contracts and own the on and off-boarding of freelancers.
  • You will actively participate in the execution of the FPS Localisation Services long-term strategy defined by the Senior Localisation Lead and Senior Content Manager, implementing new tools and processes.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are a linguist at heart, someone who lives and breathes language
  • You are a translation specialist with experience of coordinating moderately complex mid-size projects (with some problem/solution ambiguity)
  • You have up to date knowledge of translation memory, machine translation and translation management workflows/software
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills
