LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

The Commercial function at FARFETCH manages supply and pricing on the FARFETCH marketplace to achieve profitable growth. Working across the business we carry out at-scale commercial programmes which drive benefits for FARFETCH, our customers, and our partners. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Analyst you will conduct commercial analysis, working with colleagues from across the business to bring your strategic recommendations to life. The Commercial Analyst will help scope out and lead projects that deliver the markdown, promotional and end-of-season strategy globally

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will produce relevant insights to be shared with the teams to guide our strategy, exploring opportunities to optimise the promotional & Markdown business on Farfetch
  • You will build models to manage markdown supply in upcoming seasons and ensure we are well placed to achieve our overall growth goals, working with Finance to validate your forecasts and ensure the business is driving in the right direction
  • You will develop tools (working with our BI team) to analyse supply health and identify risks and opportunities
  • You will work with the wider Commercial team to influence the markdown strategy of our partners, and with Engineering to ensure they have the necessary tools to achieve this
  • You will work with Merchandising team to transform insight into merchandising decisions, focusing on strategic categories like Pre-Owned & Beauty

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience in Analytics, e-Commerce or Consulting
  • Technical skills for processing and analysing large amounts of data: Excel (can perform complex functions) and SQL (required)
  • Emphasis on operational and commercial excellence
  • (Desirable) Understanding the fashion and luxury industry!
