So that’s us. If you love the idea of building something great that makes the world a better place, in a slightly chaotic but consistently entertaining environment please do get in touch via the apply button.

Infogrid is helping protect the planet and improve the lives of billions of people by making every building a smart building.

Our goal is to be the global provider for connected devices in smart buildings. We already handle millions of events every day from tens of thousands of sensors and we’d like you to help us scale that by an order of magnitude over the coming months.

Sustainability is at our heart; buildings account for 39% of global carbon emissions and we’re creating real solutions to impact this!

We are still early in our journey but have already achieved a lot; we raised a successful series A funding round, grew 5x in employee numbers within 12 months, and voted one of the top 10 most flexible places to work.

What are we looking for?

Here at Infogrid, we love an automation first approach when it comes to QA, so at the forefront of what we’re looking for is an analytical approach that asks “how can we automate this?” rather than “how can we test this?”.

You’ll work as part of a small QA team, and be integrated within a scrum team composed of product owners, developers, dev ops engineers and data scientists.

Our QA’s tasks will involve adding to and maintaining a UI and API test automation suite in Cypress, writing and executing performance tests using Locust, as well as some manual testing effort where required.

Performance testing is a critical part of what we do here, so it's an essential requirement for us when looking at experience. We would also be looking for experience with setup and teardown of data within test runs.

The work will be challenging, but fun and full of variety; you’ll work at the cutting edge of IoT and will learn a huge amount. Most of all, we offer the opportunity to help shape the future of IoT globally.
