FINANCE

We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity for a M&A specialist to join an expanding tax team within fast- growing global business in London and be involved in significant transactional work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support theTax due diligence on corporate acquisitions, investments and other transactions, including compiling information requests, reviewing documents and drafting reports, and co-ordinating the input of other tax specialists within the Tax Team
• Provide guidance on possible tax implications of a transaction and assist on the structure the transaction to minimise tax liability and ensure compliance.
• Work with the Corporate Development Team, Legal teams and other Farfetch teams, Developing strong relationships with external advisors
• Project management ensuring that tax due diligence and structuring work is delivered in a timely manner.
• Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team and carrying out detailed technical research.on transactional issues
• Help with transformations and integration of acquisitions and the identification of tax structuring opportunities post completion

WHO YOU ARE

• You are a qualified Accountant or Tax advisor
• You preferably have an undergraduate degree in a finance, accounting, or law related study;
• Previous experience in working in a major tax practice or in-house corporate is not required,
• but strongly preferable;
• You have experience of international tax principles as well in IFRS, UK GAAP, reporting and tax accounting;
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is and continue to develop through your professional qualifications;
