About the role...

Our Compliance Department is looking for a talented Client Onboarding Manager to lead our Client Onboarding Teams. The Client Onboarding Manager will report to the Head of Compliance Operations in London.

The details…

  • Responsible for day to day running of the client onboarding and team management

  • Be the one who inspires, motivates and coaches Team Leaders and the Team

  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to the Client Onboarding Teams and the wider business

  • Reviewing and reporting on metrics and taking ownership of improving both team performance and financial crime measures

  • Proactively identify trends and potential issues in services and resolve before any disruption occurs

  • Work closely with the Head of Compliance Operations and Transaction Monitoring Manager to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to the process as well as systems used

  • Be the escalation point for complex compliance queries and review high risk accounts

  • Work cross-departmentally to proactively identify and resolve any queries and complaints

  • Coordinating and leading on projects within the onboarding teams as per the agreed timelines

  • Act as a bridging point between our London and Cardiff Compliance Teams.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the financial sector with a focus on team management

  • Proven client onboarding experience with a methodical and process-driven approach

  • In-depth knowledge of AML regulations and best practices

  • Strong understanding of financial crime controls and its application to client onboarding processes

  • Experience in the Financial Technology (FinTech) sector is welcomed

  • Self-driven, highly analytical

  • A natural leader able to motivate and inspire team members to excel

  • Have exceptional organisational skills and pay attention to detail

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others

  • Ability to prioritise work by taking the impact and scale of the work into consideration, as well as manage time effectively to meet deadlines

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to get your hands dirty
