Our Compliance department is looking for a talented Insights Manager to join the team. The successful candidate can be based in London, Cardiff or Amsterdam.

About the role…

The role of the Insights Manager will be to support the Compliance Team in becoming a truly data-led department. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, highly analytical, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working on concurrent projects. 

The Details

• Dive deep into raw data, organise and analyse it, and drive actionable insights and concise recommendations to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our Compliance Operations teams

• Own the maintenance & update of existing / ongoing metrics and creating new metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key decisions within the Compliance team

• Present insights to stakeholders & senior management in a clear and easy to comprehend manner, by using visualisation tools to answer the 'so what?' questions

• Develop and iterate on data-led toolkits, templates and best practices within the Compliance Team

• Bring proactively new ideas to the table relating to analytics approaches, datasets and ways of working

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 2-3 years’ experience in data analytics in a big data environment, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced technology / start-up / eCommerce company

• Strong analytical background with demonstrable knowledge of databases such as Excel, SQL and Looker / Tableau

• Ability to communicate data heavy and complex information to non-technical audiences

• Quantitative degree (Physics, Maths, Engineering, Economics)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others

• Is adept at conducting 80/20 analysis, drawing out business insights and presenting findings and recommendations persuasively

• Ability to prioritise work by taking the impact and scale of the work into consideration, as well as managing time effectively to meet deadlines

• Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to get your hands dirty
