About the role...

Curencycloud’s strategic partners are an essential component of our go to market success and ultimate growth as a company. As the Partner Marketing Manager, you will report into the Head of Product Marketing, working closely with our Director of Platform Partnerships and our Market Partnerships team. This role will directly contribute to the businesses success by further developing our partner network in the market, as well as supporting and executing various go to market strategies with existing strategic partners.

As Partner Marketing Manager, you will be required to primarily create and build out a new platform partner programme putting Currencycloud firmly at the centre of our ecosystem, offering new propositions to our clients via innovative partnerships. You will also assist with partner activation and go to market campaigns for our existing strategic partnerships. You’ll need to demonstrate leadership in building strategic partner marketing relationships and building exceptional customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Platform partnerships - (approx. % of role breakdown 50%)

  • Create and deliver a new platform partnerships programme that positions Currencycloud as an open, collaborative platform and the partner of choice
  • Work closely with the Director of Platform Partnerships to establish new partner propositions and effectively position us in the market
  • Own and maintain all external facing documentation, content and marketing collateral relating to the Platform Partnerships programme
  • Lead on co-marketing initiatives with our platform partners to drive awareness, new revenue opportunities and wallet share
  • Support the Director of Platform Partnerships to:
  • Develop partner positioning for key strategic accounts to drive sales enablement within the partner account
  • Create partner activation plans and go-to-market activities including; sales enablement, awareness, demand generation, joint events and PR, and case studies

Market partnerships - (approx. % of role breakdown 50%)

  • Work closely with the Market Partnerships team and Product Marketing to refine partner propositions and strengthen our position in the market
  • Own and maintain all external facing documentation, content and marketing collateral relating to the Market Partnerships programme
  • Support on co-marketing initiatives with our Market Partners to drive awareness, new revenue opportunities and wallet share including:
  • Developing partner positioning for key strategic accounts to drive sales enablement within the partner account
  • Partner activation plans and go-to-market activities including; sales enablement, awareness, demand generation, joint events and PR, and case studies

Other role requirements

  • Set SMART objectives that deliver desired outcomes and ROI in line with the overall business goals and objectives
  • Develop, manage and maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the business
  • Manage the effective use of any allocated budget by aligning priorities and resources
  • Deliver all work accurately and to high standards
  • Take an active interest in our product and industry becoming an expert in your field
  • Have a data-driven approach – base your decisions on facts rather than opinions to strive for improvement and innovation, demonstrating ROI on all activities.
  • Complete any other ad hoc duties as required

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record
  • Technology / payments / Fintech experience preferable
  • Clear understanding of the role with a genuine care for partners and their customers needs.
  • A desire to turn technical product into strategic reasons to buy or partner, and address customer pain points
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent team working skills, ability to manage own workload and tenacious attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up environment, responding positively to changes and demonstrating agility
