About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities to safeguard the integrity of financial and operational processes across contract-to-invoice activities. The role focuses on detecting and mitigating revenue leakages, analysing complex datasets, improving controls, supporting financial accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as IT, Network, and international first-line units. The position suits someone with experience in business or margin assurance, financial data analysis, and reporting solutions within the telecommunications environment.

What you will do

• Run data analysis to detect margin leakages and financial-impacting inconsistencies.
• Monitor platform integrity processes and conduct reconciliations of usage, billing, and charging data.
• Analyse alarms and potential anomalies related to specific offers or services.
• Develop queries, reports, and dashboards to support continuous monitoring and ad-hoc initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through analysis of data and reports.
• Review new commercial initiatives and propose updates to existing controls or requirements.
• Partner with Vodafone Italy first-line teams to support leakage resolution, transparency of issues, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate on the design and development of controls and mitigations.
• Manage data sources by acquiring new datasets, maintaining independent second-line data sources, and participating in company-wide data projects.

Who you are

• Skilled in analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Experienced in auditing and working with large or complex financial datasets.
• Confident in using analytical and BI tools such as MicroStrategy or Power BI.
• Effective at communicating with international and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficient in time management, problem-solving, and collaborative work.
• Equipped with at least 3 years of overall experience, including 1 year in a similar role.
• Educated to degree level in Economics, Business Informatics, IT or related fields.
• Experienced in business or margin assurance or similar telecommunications functions.
• Capable of building reporting solutions and working in business analytical environments.
• Fluent in English (B2) and Italian (B2).
