Job Description

What you'll bring to the team

Job Summary: The Technician assists with the planned and reactive maintenance throughout the attraction to ensure the day-today operation is running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Technician is responsible for all aspects of the attraction, including the audio/visual, lighting, equipment, and machinery

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot attraction equipment and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and work order repairs to minimize downtime and ensure a safe, high-quality guest experience.
  • Support exhibit setup and takedown, shipping and receiving, and general facility upkeep, including painting, wall repairs, furniture assembly, and lighting maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain rides, control systems, and audio-visual equipment for both legacy and new exhibits.
  • Install and maintain lighting, doors, data cabling, computer outlets, and other facility components as needed.
  • Monitor building systems and promptly correct or report safety hazards in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools and maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in clean and organized condition.
  • Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED required. At least two years of maintenance experience required. At least two years of service industry experience in a technical/themed environment to include animation, automation, hydraulics, pneumatic, electrical/electronics, and networks. Experience of maintaining flexibility and the highest level of service in high-pressure and/or stressful situations. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary. Desire to work in fast-paced environments.

Licenses and Certifications Ability to obtain related licensures or certification as may be required to perform the essential function of the position or as required by law.

Pay Range

USD $22.75/Hr.
