We’re now looking for a Copywriter with a witty sense of humour and ability to ideate collaboratively to join our Marketing & Creative Team.
This role will work across Brand, CRM, Socials, Performance, Creative & CS teams and so will involve a lot of communication, patience and ability to be innovative and entrepreneurial. You will be a 1st class writer with an eye for a good pun, a deep understanding of how different types of copy in different places work (e.g. email vs a paid ad) and be able to put yourself in the shoes of people from differing backgrounds, cultures and countries. Wild is a global brand and what works in the UK may not also work in the US or Germany for example.

📓Some of your daily responsibilities:
Create and constantly evolve a company-wide “tone of voice” that all teams can adhere to.
Work with the CRM team to perfect email and comms copy.
Work with the brand team to provide witty, clever, unique and exciting social comms over our social media channels (combined 500k+ following).
Work with our partnerships team to come up with unique activations around the year that consistently reinvent “funny stunts”, be willing to push the boundaries and raise some eyebrows.
Work with our performance marketing team to perfect Ad copy. Be a constant student of paid ad copy to figure out what converts best when writing short, snappy copy and how we can grab attention from people endlessly scrolling their feeds.
Work with our creative team on asset creation. Assets can be created to match an excellent caption, not always the other way around!
Work with our CS team to help them define tone of voice when replying to customers on socials / ads / email. How do we find our tone and train them to talk to customers in this way?
Help with packaging copy, offline campaigns, tv campaigns, youtube campaigns etc. etc. etc.
Ideate, ideate, ideate. Constantly be coming up with new and exciting ways to promote the brand.
🚀 What we need from you:
Inexhaustible energy to come up with funny, quirky and genuinely brand-defining copy.
Ability to think outside the box, constantly ideating but within the parameters of the brand. An understanding of what is feasible, what we can actually do and what resource we have to do it is key here. E.g. yes we’d like to fly a thousand planes across the sky of london with funny Wild slogans but we’re not quite at a point where we can afford that… yet…
A real communicator. You will be working with a wide plethora of people, you need to be a people person who can work well in a team and thrives off working with others.
