Job overview

We are hiring a People Operations Manager to join our People team.

In your everyday job as a People Ops Manager, you will be accountable for the management of the company’s global payroll, and will manage employee’s journey (on-boarding to off-boarding).

Missions

The People Ops Manager will :

Manage employee’s journey

  • Manage legal and HR steps in on- and off-boarding journeys

  • Standardize and structure individual contracts across contracting & collaboration types and working locations

  • Oversee and monitor the contract modification process: keep all the team’s personal and professional data up-to-date

  • Support the People team in your areas of responsibility: working time management, local payroll, working contract amendments, etc.

  • Support the HRBPs in the calculation of settlement agreements, dismissal indemnities and drive the administrative process in relation with the People Operations Team Lead

  • Monitor all aspects of the employee’s life on a daily basis: paid holidays, sick leave, health insurance, lunch vouchers, etc.

  • Document and maintain up-to-date our internal payroll processes, check-lists and templates (payroll planning for each country, import files, etc.)

Own the global payroll processes

  • Act as the point of contact for our teams on all aspects of payroll

  • Manage end-to-end local payroll processes in full autonomy : prepare monthly elements (wages, variable elements, benefits in kind, entries, leavers, etc.), control payslips, and coordinate the payment with our providers in compliance with the local planning defined for the year

  • Handle the process with our providers and ensure that it meets the local legal requirements and take the appropriate measures to comply with those rules

  • Communicate and drive the payroll process with our external partners and bodies (ex : health insurances, lunch vouchers providers, etc.)

  • Complete post payroll administration, including preparation and reconciliation of reports & controls where needed

  • Connect with URSSAF / DGFiP / Pension schemes / health insurances where necessary to clear up questions/doubts/correct the set up.

Enhance the Compliance of our processes

  • Develop and maintain skills to have a clear understanding of HR laws in multiple countries (France, Spain, etc.)

  • Make sure that all our processes and decision making processes are compliant with local labor law and data protection requirements

  • Support queries relating to compliance, audit and due diligence

  • Set up processes to monitor adherence to key HR policies such as onboarding, off-boarding, probation period or internal mobilities.

Our People Operations Manager would be someone with:

  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a payroll / staff administration (ADP) position

  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulation

  • Experience in an international scope

  • Highly proficiency with HR information systems, Excel or Google sheets, and other programs / packages necessary for analyzing data to support decision making

  • Strong autonomy, velocity and empathy - You are service oriented

  • Team spirit with a strong sense of ownership

  • Excellent communication skills, both in French and English
