As a Senior Editor, you will be in charge of developing our editorial line in order to address Decision Makers’ needs and trends, as well as tackle Modern Work trends (DEI, new ways of working…) that shape the work market in the USA and beyond. You’ll be a key member of the US Media team and will contribute directly to building and delivering the right strategy to successfully develop our media in the USA and beyond. You’ll be based in Paris and will report to the Head of Media Expansion.
Understand the media strategy and pro-actively suggest content production and diffusion adjustments to maximize our impact.
Follow-up editorial strategy and translate into specific concrete editorial projects that serve the media goals
Propose editorial dynamics and be a force of proposal to revise the format of articles or new topics and take action upon
Monitoring media’s ecosystem trends and news
Consolidate analysis of the performance of the content of the audience you are in charge of and Contribute to the Media Strategy by translating them into recommendations of new editorial projects/adjustments
Help identify the right actors to partner with and help create impactful synergies.
You’ll be in charge of conceiving, developing and delivering in total independence key special projects (The Lab, book, lives, others…) targeting Decision Makers and that’ll have a major impact on our development in new market
By editing pieces produced by freelancers and producing content yourself, you will ensure and improve high quality standards, as well as a perfect coherence with our editorial line.
You’ll help monitor the work trends in the US and beyond, and pitch content pieces for your DM audience but also for the other ones, that’ll be discussed collaboratively. Therefore, you’ll contribute to the team effort of finding innovative angles and formats to create and develop.
You’ll build and adjust your editorial calendar based on our media strategy and budget, and make sure it’s respected.
Based on the needs of the projects you’re in charge of, you’ll hire, coordinate and manage a team of freelance journalists, sub-editors, translators, video journalists, photographers and experts
Consolidate content briefs and share them with adequate members of our pool of freelancers
Contribute to the optimization of our content by updating articles and implementing strong SEO guidelines
You’ll collaborate with the rest of the team to produce video content with a coherence and impactful editorial line.
You’ll collaborate with the Europe editorial teams in order to develop global media initiatives.
