Team Assistant to the Extended Leadership Team

Who are we?

Wayve is the first company in the world to use autonomous vehicles on public roads using end-to-end deep learning. Our approach to self-driving cars is unique because we teach cars to see and learn like humans do through artificial intelligence algorithms that don’t need expensive hardware or HD/3D maps. Our computer vision learns from both observing human driving and reinforcement learning, allowing us to learn efficiently at scale making autonomy for everyone, everywhere achievable.

Where you will have impact

We seek a highly organised and proactive individual to join as a Team Assistant. The overall goal is to support with everyday administrative support and coordination to ensure the smooth functioning of our XLT team. You will assist with various tasks, manage schedules, and facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments. It is fast-paced and rewarding work, so requires someone with a great attitude who is happy to ‘roll their sleeves up’ and get involved in different areas of the business.

You will be able to use your initiative but also take direction and learn from the team around you.

Where you will have impact

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and preparing documents, reports or presentations.
  • Coordination and Communication: Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Meeting and Event Management: Assist EAs in organising team meetings, including preparing agendas, helping organise company events and team-building activities, making arrangements, coordinating logistics, and supporting their successful execution.
  • Document Management: Maintain records, files, and databases. Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading various documents and other materials.
  • Project Assistance: Assist the EAs in project-related tasks, including research, data collection, and stakeholder coordination. Help monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with the EAs to foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting with team-building initiatives, organising team outings, and maintaining a well-equipped and organised workspace.

What we are looking for ?

  • +2 years providing administrative support
  • Multitakser and proactive
  • Team player
  • Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proven experience in prioritising and operating in a fast-moving organisation
  • Excellent communicator with a flexible attitude
  • Proficient Google Drive skills and can adapt to new platform
