Role Purpose
VBU Regional Expert drives the growth of enterprise and SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) business across regions and sub-regions. The role ensures that enterprise products and solutions (connectivity, ICT, cloud, IoT, security, etc.) are effectively positioned, localized, and executed to meet the needs of regional businesses. This SME partners with sales, marketing, and technical teams to unlock commercial opportunities, strengthen relationships with enterprise customers, and ensure Vodafone is the partner of choice for businesses in every region.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Coverage
- Identify high-potential industries and businesses across each region.
- Develop regional B2B growth initiatives targeting SMEs and corporates.
Solution Positioning & Sales Enablement
- Localize enterprise value propositions for regional markets.
- Support sales teams with product knowledge, solution demos, and proposals.
Customer Relationship Management
- Engage directly with priority enterprise accounts to identify needs and upsell solutions.
- Ensure strong post-sales support in collaboration with central enterprise care.
Product Adoption & Growth
- Drive adoption of fixed connectivity, IoT, cloud, and digital business solutions.
- Collaborate with CVM SME to design loyalty and retention offers for enterprise clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marcom SME to design region-specific enterprise marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Sales & Retail SME to activate SME acquisition through regional retail presence.
- Collaborate with Insights SME to analyze enterprise customer trends and need
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B/enterprise sales, product, or commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of ICT, connectivity, and digital business solutions.
- Experience in telecom, ICT providers, or enterprise solution sales preferred.
- Ability to work with C-level clients and translate technical solutions into business value.
- Strong commercial orientation with solution-selling mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to simplify complex solutions for diverse audiences
- Collaborative and cross-functional team player
- Strategic thinker with execution discipline
