About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to support strategic growth areas across Digital, IoT, and Cloud Transformation. The individual will design, execute, and refine software testing activities, ensuring product reliability and efficiency while contributing to continuous improvement across the testing lifecycle.

What you will do

• Contribute to engineering efforts from planning and organisation to execution and delivery, addressing technical challenges in testing and tooling.
• Review customer requirements and translate them into structured testing activities.
• Develop, design, review, and update test cases aligned with customer expectations.
• Create, modify, and execute test plans for software validation at both system and user levels.
• Prepare and construct test datasets to support execution activities.
• Execute software tests and record results accurately.
• Document defects, monitor their progress, and retest once resolved.
• Execute regression test suites as required.
• Participate in testing initiatives and specialised domains to enhance capability and knowledge.

Who you are

• 1-3 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, methods, and procedures.
• Experience working with app and web-based technologies.
• Proficient with industry-standard test management tools including HP ALM, Jira, and VSTS (Azure).
• Hands-on experience in manual/exploratory testing and automation testing.
• Knowledge of Functional and UI testing across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing automation testing solutions using Java, Appium, and Selenium.
• Basic knowledge of Rest Assured, Swift, Kotlin, or Angular is advantageous.
• Understanding of Agile testing practices is a plus.
• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is mandatory.
